Grew up in DT, but have been living in Miami Beach and other South Florida spots for decades. Believe me, go to this bar. If it existed where I live, it would create a giant traffic jam every weekend. It's a cocktail bar, and they have all the overblown cocktail stuff. Bartenders are overly cool, but never rude. But the music, the scale, the easy access, mix of crowd, vibe, and great drinks make it like a mirage here in town. Unduplicated anywhere I know of. Another bonus is it's scary cheap. Every time I go, my tab in way low. . I paid a bar tab for 4 people for 2 1/2 hours and I thought I had someone else's tab. It was less than the price of pair of drinks of any place I might go in SoFla. Eat before you go and Enjoy the drinks and music!

I've been going to Hops/Scotch regularly for the last 5 years and I recommend it to everyone I meet! The bartenders are the sweetest, kindest people and go out of their way to make you happy. The atmostphere is comfortable, warm and welcoming. Go see for yourself!

love this place. staff is super chill and know their stuff. drinks are great. good mix of classics and some weird ones that actually work. vibe is low key. sometimes there’s live music which is cool, not too loud. also you can order food from other spots in the building and they just bring it over. genius. def recommend. fav spot in Doylestown for a drink.

I have never felt more welcome in a space than Hops/Scotch. I would gladly sit here for hours enjoying the company of the personable bartenders, eating the food from the other businesses in the building, and downing a couple of bees knees. They have freaking book club nights, a sort of occasion thrift shop that they open downstairs AND an amazing Halloween party every year just to name a few of their regular events. This place has everything anyone could want - introvert or extrovert.

This is my very favorite place in Bucks County! The food, the drinks and most of all, the staff are amazing. I recently witnessed an awful women who performed there, though I use the word perform VERY loosely, who did 5 songs and for her last one decided to pull out hateful and incredibly divisive content. The staff handled it impressively, making sure they stood up for every one of their patrons. They were kind and patient despite how belligerent she became. I’ll continue to visit regularly as it became clear that on top of great service and food, they have integrity in a time when it’s lacking. If you’re reading any negativity here, trust me when I say it’s this “artist” and her associates and a hate campaign. I guess she had to trade any integrity of her own to jockey for a sponsorship from the brand she was wearing. Appalling behavior from someone who was welcome to perform, just asked to leave her hate and agenda behind. Well done, Hops/Scotch for keeping your kindness and inclusivity intact!

Hops/Scotch is a frequent of ours and has some of the most enjoyable service and atmosphere in Doylestown. The themed evenings are a joy, the staff are extraordinarily pleasant, and the cocktails are delightful. Sometimes the upstairs gets a little crowded, however service is always quite prompt. If you are in the area and looking for a watering hole with decent food, excellent drinks, and a superb atmosphere then look no further
